For all properties being auctioned by the Sheriff of the Court, you'll find an entry describing the property in the Government Gazette.

The Insider Report contains a direct copy of this entry. It's a 'must-read' before bidding at a Sheriff Auction.

The Gazette entry can contain:

  • The condition of the property
  • The number of bedrooms and bathrooms
  • The number of parking bays or garages
  • The type of property (vacant stand, under construction, finished house, etc.)
  • Details of cottages or outbuildings
  • If the property is occupied or empty
  • The transferring attorney's contact details
  • Anything else the attorneys felt was important to include

The next step is to determine the value of the property...
